The target audience for this satellite will be domestic and international rheumatologists, geriatricians, infectious disease clinicians, cardiologists with an interest in the inflammatory aspects of atherosclerosis, oncologists, and basic scientists interested in the clinical issues related to inflammation and the role of damage associated molecular pattern molecules (DAMPs).
The primary purpose of the satellite is to introduce the emergent understanding of the DAMPs in inflammation and clinical immunology. At the conclusion of the Satellite, participants will be able to:
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the sponsorship of the Clinical Immunology Society. The Clinical Immunology Society is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The Clinical Immunology Society designates this educational activity for a maximum of 7 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should only claim credits commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
