The Results Are In! SITC Announces Election Winners

The Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC) would like to congratulate the individuals listed below as the Society’s newly elected officials! During the recent election, Society members were able to cast their votes for each of the open positions.

SITC’s newly elected officials will promote the goals and vision of Society as the leading membership-driven organization specifically dedicated to the advancement of the science and application of cancer immunology and immunotherapy. Here is the complete list of winners:

The elected individuals will assume their positions in November 2014 at the State of SITC: Membership Business Meeting taking place on November 6, 2014. This event will be part of the Society’s 29th Annual Meeting & Associated Programs in National Harbor, MD, so please join us in welcoming the new SITC leadership.

Dr. Butterfield will serve a two-year term as the Society’s Vice President before ascending to President in November 2016, when she will become the Society’s first female president in its 30 year history. Dr. Hodi will serve as the Secretary/Treasurer for a three-year period, and the elected At-Large Director positions will also serve three-year terms.

SITC would especially like to thank all the candidates that ran for positions during the 2014 election.
