This year, more than ever before, cancer immunotherapy and the leading investigators in our field are at the forefront of the entire oncology field. With a number of approaches demonstrating clinical benefit to patients in a variety of cancer types—and immunotherapy fast becoming a pillar of cancer care—it is no surprise that stakeholders across the globe have taken a keen interest in the promise of cancer immunotherapy. In response to this unprecedented growth and interest in the field, SITC has extended our 30th Anniversary Annual Meeting & Associated Programs to provide more opportunities for scientific exchange, networking and education than ever. If you have not already done so, I encourage you to register for this momentous event, which will be held in National Harbor, Maryland from November 4 – 8, 2015. There, leaders from around the world will discuss and debate significant developments in tumor immunology, cancer immunotherapy, celebrate the history of the field, and articulate contemporary issues during sessions and programs designed with you in mind.
