Description:

This CME-certified program will provide an understanding of basic immuno-oncology principles underlying the clinical application of immunotherapy, provide insights into the indications and clinical management of patients receiving cancer immunotherapy, and discuss concepts in the immuno-oncology field.

Presented by leading authorities in tumor immunology and cancer immunotherapy, this program will summarize central themes in immuno-oncology and describe how the immune system is influenced by standard cancer treatments. Attendees can also take advantage of the opportunity for professional networking that will promote collaboration and scientific exchange with experts, clinical oncologists and other health care providers.

Students, postdoctoral fellows, and technicians from academia and industry, as well as physicians and scientists at more senior levels who wish to solidify their understanding of tumor immunology and immunotherapy.

Discounted registration rates apply to those who apply before the Early Registration Deadline (May 13, 2014 at 11:59 pm PT).

Students as well as allied health and patient advocates can gain FREE admission to the program. The registration rate for SITC members who fall into the clinical, academic or government classification is only $50.
