On June 29, the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC) is convening a virtual Cancer Moonshot Summit on Twitter. We invite you to hear from thought leaders in the field and join the conversation between 10:00 a.m. – noon CST. To participate, see the details outlined below.
In addition to SITC’s virtual summit, I will be participating on behalf of the society as an attendee at the Vice President’s Cancer Moonshot Summit in Washington, D.C. We are pleased to represent the interests of the cancer immunotherapy field and the dedicated professionals working to make the word "cure" a reality for patients everywhere.
Goals
- Spur discussions about the current work around cancer and the potential for new collaborations
- Create a formal mechanism for individuals and organizations representing all types of cancers to have direct engagement with the Cancer Moonshot Initiative
- Generate ideas and commitments to accelerate cures and end cancer as we know it
How to Participate
- Join SITC on Twitter between 10:00 a.m. – noon CST to hear from SITC thought leaders in the field and their insights on the evolution of cancer immunotherapy
- Post comments using the hashtag #CancerMoonshot and mention @sitcancer
