Presented by the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) in collaboration with the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer
This joint session was part of the 2016 ASTRO Annual Meeting.
Participants at this session learned the rationale for combining specific regimens of radiation therapy with immunotherapy, as well as the controversies surrounding the optimal treatment sites for radiotherapy when used as an adjuvant to immunotherapy treatment. Attendees were prepared to apply this knowledge in analyzing and choosing treatment combinations and radiation regimens. A panel discussion gave participants an opportunity to ask questions of experts on these topics.
